Born in New York City, lives and works in Northwest Connecticut and Vaison-la-Romaine, France. Has been painting for 20 years, after working for 25 years as a family therapist, translating three books on Africa from French, and raising two children. Was educated at the Brearley School in New York, Smith College, and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Paris. Works primarily in oil, charcoal and monoprint.
